APPROVED FENCE STAIN COLORS

Below are the new stain color options for fences. Please let us know if you have any questions.

For brown stains, homeowners may select from transparent, semi-transparent, semi-solid, or solid finishes. The previous approved list did not specify finish types, so we agreed to leave this open for individual preference.

Brown Stains

• BEHR #ST-109 Wrangler Brown – Home Depot (Current option – still available)

• BEHR #SC-146 Cedar – Home Depot

• Valspar Exterior Wood Stain and Sealer in Rusticana – Lowe's Home Improvement

• Cabot Exterior Wood Stain and Sealer in Mission Brown – Lowe's Home Improvement

Gray Stains

• BEHR #SC-137 Drift Gray – Home Depot

• Valspar or Cabot 8004-32F Sage Slate – Lowe's Home Improvement

For clear sealers, any brand or store option is acceptable.

• Olympic or BEHR Clear Exterior Wood Sealer – Home Depot

• Valspar or Cabot Clear Exterior Wood Sealer – Lowe's Home Improvement

As of 3/4/2026, the above Building and Exterior Improvements Forms are no longer to be emailed to the board.  The forms are to be submitted in the homeowner portal via the Town and Country website.  Requests should be submitted at least 30 days prior to the start of construction so that there is adequate time for them to be reviewed.  Please be sure to include your phone number so that you may be reached with any questions or to schedule an onsite visit with you to review your requirements.
